I am an electronics newbie looking for help.

I am building a project and am down to the last piece, which is where I need
help.

I have currently have two pieces and need to integrate them together.
Piece #1 is a motion sensor (purchased, when motion is detected, a pizio
goes off for a few seconds. I could build a simpler circuit if needed.)
Piece #2 is a remote control

My goal is to have the motion sensor trigger a button on the remote control,
as if it were pressed once...even for a nanosecond. (simply close the
circuit on the remote control button for the quick moment.)

I am looking for a very simple solution. Can anyone help?
Thank you in advance.

When I do that sort of stuff I solder very fine wires to the button
touchpads on the circuit board and wire in a small relay (usually a reed
relay) for isolation. There are also electronic chip switches that
should work.
