simple circuit for charging a capacitor

can anyone help me with a simple circuit for charging a capacitor to
24 v from a pp3 9v battery ?
i can solder an read circuits buts thats it...........something i
could make on a breadboard / stripboard ? it would need to have an led
illuminate when the cap is charged

not sure how many uf cap would be

any help appreciated (i'm in the uk)

I'm not sure it would be safe to answer your questions. You don't
seem to be able to handle the idom, punctuation, grammar, or
technology. (Not led, but LED "Light Emitting Diode", for example.) A
few more years of education, perhaps? No offense intended....of
course.

I'm not sure how suitable a blocking oscilator would be :)

Lots of ways to do it. Google it and find stuff like this:

A zener, resistor and LED will provide the charge complete indicator.
