I have designed this one useing a simple 'buck' switcher from National semi
conductor. LM2574-ADJ MDIP8
The idea of this is to reduce 12VDC down to 4.5 VDC at 4.5 A. It also has a
10.2VDC outo off when you tank the SLA batteries.
Any opinion on this design would help.
One question.
Can a pass transistor be used to increase current load from .5A say to 1A?
PS My portable takes 325MA at 3.0VDC with the antishock on and at full
volume (Test only).
