Hi guys
I wanna know if a shorted pin in sim card slot can damage components (resistot capacitor trans ic etc) on the mainboard or simcard pcb part in my case?
Phone doesnt detect sim card after shorted pins (now pin are fixed but says no sim inserted)
But everything seems fine on the board to me

maybe, maybe not, depends on which pins were shorted

As davenn says. If a power pin was shorted directly to a component instead of via a current-limiting resistor, that component (and a train of others) may now be dead.

Im not 100percent sure but i can say "vpp "and upper pin which is mentioned as "reset "in the picture were bended.
Maybe shorted to metal shield and also to other pins

Okay , are they visible for naked eye , i mean can i see the dead or exploded stuff?
Or i should just trust my multimeter

not necessarily and maybe not
Hmmm one more question
Theres an activation switch in sim slot that opens when sim inserts and normally closes without it(normaly closes switch), which ic is responsible for this switch? I think this is why phone says no sim card inserted
