Found a rail of these things around in DIP-8 package. Date code 1981

Anyone have an old Signetics catalog around from that era? Can't find
anything on the net.

Thanks and best regards,

Best regards,

Neither Signetics' 1976 nor 1989 linear catalogs show
any promise. No part numbers contain '2003'.

Sorry.

Of parts in that DIP-8 package, the 1979 book lists:
80% op-amps and pre-amps,
NE555 timer,
NE592 video amp,
their NE561-7 PLL series,
MC1496 multiplier,
a couple ULN-series ICs, e.g. the ULN2008 gain block.

That's about it.

OK, thanks, it must be house numbered or something.

Looks sort of like a single op-amp from measuring the diode drops (pin
4 is the substrate, pin 7 has the lowest diode drop and pins 2&3 have
the highest).

Maybe it's an 8-pin version of the 25120:

S20xx were static shift registers in metal 10pin TO-100.

An analog delay line?
