I tried to charge that battery for my dirt stock car and...that charger just doesn't have the power that it used to, so I decided to look into the problem, upon removing the side panel I notice a few wires coming from the transformer to a metal plate with what appears to be diodes attached to it are broken off, now I'm an apprentice electrician so I have some "know how"
Anyone know how to fix this?
Are the connections spot welded? Soldered?

Product is a shumacher sf 2001

They're spot welded on to the plate.
One can replace with "stud" type diodes of appropriate current and voltage rating by drilling about 6mm hole in the plate for each replacement diode.
You will need to test or visibly inspect each diode for polarity and replace the same way they come off.
i.e. there are common Anode and common Cathode stud diodes.
Places like Ebay, Digikey should have replacements.
