    Hi all
Our a/c unit in our living room is working for @ 20 minutes then closes down. As it does the red light figure which normally shows the inner or outdoor temperature shows "13" and flashes. We cannot get anyone to check it over as no one is responding to our phone messages. With temperatures in the 30's they are presumably busy installing rather than repairing! Can anyone help? Thanks

Sharp is the make, it's an inverter/plasma cluster unit and model is one of these:
    AY-XP M7CR
    AY-XPM9CR
    AY-Xpm12CR

@A.McC your unit has a metal ID/spec-plate which has the three XP series models one one plate.
Check in the printed boxes next to these - one of them (should) have a mark, like 'X'.

The number reads AY-XPO8CA which isn't listed on our handbook!
