I use a serial programmer that uses a DB25 parrallel port. Laptops no longer use these so I was looking for a solution. Is there some sort of adaptor to convert DB25 to USB?

    Regards

Yes, there are adapters, but I have never found any of the converters all that reliable overall, if they even work at all... The converters are generally designed to make a 'printer' work, not do a full proper adaptation that a lot of non-printer hardware requires...

If you insist on using the old programer, I suggest keeping a legacy computer around, or else get a new programer...
