yes, that's exactly what I wanted it to do. elevator use would be great too, but I'm not sure if the Beam would lose its internet connection if the doors closed prior to getting the floor button to work or if it disconnected on the way to other floors (especially if going multiple floors). haven't tried that yet. I figured getting the handicapped doors to work would be the first step.
