Self-holding transistor (or anything else) needed!!!

    Hi all.

    You may know how to assamble a self-holding relay circuit. When you contact relay's bobbin's pins to the +5V and GND, the other 2 pins will shortcut. However I need this setup without using relay.

    I know thyristors can do this but I do not have any. So, I'm trying to assamble this setup by using thyrsor's equivalent circuit diagram. However ıt doesn't work. I don't know where is the problem. I've assambled the equivalent circuit and gave power to the base, system worked, but when I cut off the power from base my circuit stops working.

    Can anyone help me?
