Scraped component on PCB - is it likely to be ok?

Hello,
I received a graphics card from Ebay today and have found some scrapes on the back plate, including one or two that have contacted the components on the PCB. Most notable are those on the component in the picture.

(Please neglect the discolouration - that is just felt tip ink. I tried to embed the image from Imgur but that didn't seem to be working.)

Is this component likely to have been damaged? I do not know what it is or how it is constructed. However the card seems to be working on limited testing.

Thanks in advance for help.

Hi there
welcome :)

Is this component likely to have been damaged?

doesn't appear to have gone deep enough to get to the main core of the capacitor on the left
replacing it will be a little tricky cuz of where it is ... you will need a fine tipper soldering iron and good tweezers
of you decide to replace it

Did you buy this as a "new" part?
If you did, I would ask for it's replacement.

No it was bought used. But the seller packaged it really badly and it was scraping against another card all the way through the post.
