I have a Fluke scopemeter 97 II.

If I have $1000 and want to upgrade it to a better one, what model /
brand should I purchase?

Well - I don't miss any particular function but I hate the NiCd battery
(caracteristic).

I wish there was a lithium battery replacement so I could have the
instrument charged and ready for weeks...
