schematic diagram/circuit

Hi everyone I'm kinda new here and I need help for something

We need to create a schematic diagram or a circuit diagram(including the V source,components,etc.) for our project.

1. A circuit that lights an incandescent light(50 W) 12 hours a day and an input where you can indicate how long (days) the incandescent light will light and after that time you indicated, it will switch to fluorescent light (50 W) for 12 hours a day. It has to be automatic and the time the fluorescent light will stop can be manual. You also need to provide a 7-segment display or LCD screen to show the number of days(days,hours, minutes, seconds).

Please please any help would be appreciated. We really need to finish this asap. Thank you in advance )

First guess: this is an assignment or homework, right?
Second guess: It can be done using a microcontroller for controlling the intervall and the human-machine-interface (display for output, keypad for input) plus two relays for turning on and off the appropriate lamps.

Of course, you can do it in a completely different way, too.
