Hi,

I have a Scantronic 9454 which, after I set it off by mistake, has
developed a 'Tamper' Fault. I have the tamper, day, service and fault
lights lit.

Does anyone know how to reset the alarm, or find where the tamper
fault could be. I have the manual but it's not very descriptive.

Thanks in advance

Do you have the user or the engineer manual
The lights you have showing could indicate
Tamper Fault -- Zone or Keypad or Siren
Also Battery Fault (Low or missing battery or battery not charging)

To find a tamper fault (if you dont have a test meter)you would need to loop
out each tamper cct separately to find which is at fault.

To properly test the battery you need to load test it.

You carry out an engineer reset (if that is how it is programmed) with the
engineer code.

You could default the panel but that would be of no use unless you are
au-fait with re-programming it all up again.
