hi all, got an older Sanyo (mod#2506) that went out; getting no raster
no sound, i can hear relay click when the power button is pressed,
then about 5 seconds later another click, but nothing happens. i'm
thinking either flyback or relay...any info appreciated

Try checking for cold solder joints around the horizontal output section.

I had a Sharp TV which exhibited the same symptoms and it turned out to be a
completely cracked solder joint on one of the pins on the flyback transformer.
Reflowing the joint restored normal operation.
