Samsung Monitor dead

Dears: I´m electronic technician. I´d like to start maintenance in
computer monitors. I have one in my bench without image but there is
65VDC in the power supply capacitor. The relay works when I start the
monitor, but in a second it opens and there is no image at the screen.

I´d like to know if I have to put something in the video cable to
maintain the relay operating or this is a problem too.

It would be helpful if you post the model No but in general I would expect a
modern monitor to go to standby if there is no sync signal at the input.
However I don't know if that's your only problem, but you must have an input
signal to test.
