Salvaged PIC, Usable???

I salvaged a PIC16F876A-I/SP and was wondering if it can be used again. If so, is it good for anything major?

Yep, but you'll need a programmer w/ software to erase/reprogram it, and of course, a compiler to write the new program.
They're a very useful chip, and erasable/reprogrammable many, many times.
