hi everyone

first i want to say i`m little bit new to this forums and I'm happy to here !!

i bought cheap led headlamp from eBay months ago and i have some problems with it`s run time

this led headlamp have a Cree XML T6 led emitter and 2x 18650 3.7v batteries to power it up.these two 18650 batteries are connect using parallel connection inside the battery compartment and after full 8.5hours of charge these two batteries are only enough to run headlamp on a 45 mins in it`s full brightness settings.

but this run time is not enough to me . i have an idea to attached 12V/6v sealed lead acid battery (ups battery) to this headlamp and put battery on my hiking bag and connect through wire.i think i can get more longer run time with lead acid battery but i don`t have good knowledge of electronics then i goggled little bit and come up with the DC to DC buck converter.i bought that buck converter from eBay

my questions are

1. is this possible to attache my headlamp to my lead acid battery without burning led
2. are there any method to increase run time of my headlamp
3. how longer i can run led full bright with the heat sink without damaging the led
4. is there any other of battery types that i can use ?

this i a headlight i bought = http://www.ebay.com/itm/1800LM-CREE...?pt=AU_Lighting_Fans&var=&hash=item565f0fd2cf

and this is the buck converter = http://www.ebay.com/itm/LM2596-DC-D..._Measurement_Equipment_ET&hash=item2a3863a4b3

this is the technical datasheet of led = http://www.led-tech.de/en/High-Powe...rie/CREE-XM-L-T6-Emitter-LT-1731_120_170.html

and this is the battery type i willing to use (not the exact one in that link ) = http://www.ebay.com/itm/PowerStar-R...erruptible_Power_Supplies&hash=item2c7e110492

please be kind enough to answer my question

thanks in advance
