Rogowski coils

    One of the other threads about load sharing 2 devices caused me to read up on these sensing coils. I found some companies that sell clampon and flexible verions, but these are geared for very high currents(100 to 1000s of amps). Then I found this article:
    Making your own Rogowski coil

    I intend to try this when I have some spare time, but I was wondering whether anybody on here has any experience with this coils.

    Have seeing them on marketed energy management module. It's very easy to install as no cable is to be disconnected. Current transformers are more popular but cables need to be disconnected (still being non intrusive method)
