    Hi all,
I have a HP A0 plotter that needs a repair to the ribbon/membrane connector
that contacts the print head cartridges. Some breaks in the track due to
corrosion/stress at the point where the gold plated portion interfaces with the
    rest of the covered ribbon.
I have tried scraping away the covering and cleaning the area and then applying
"circuit works" conductive(silver)paint without success. Tracks are really to
fine even for the micro-tip pen.this is really microscope work.
Original cable is no longer available.
    Has anybody any ideas ?
    Cheers,
    Mark

Have you tried using a syringe instead? I think these are easily
available at the pharmacy or if you state the purpose clearly.
Other than this I can only think of replacing it with actual wires.

.... That was a fascinating period of time for electronics
