Resistor value

    I removed this resistor from a circuit. It quite obviously got very hot. image.jpg image.jpg I can't quite make out the color code. Looks like brown, yellow, white, gold but that makes no sense cause white is not a multiplier. Reads 90ohms. Any ideas?

    There are also some 100 ohm resistors and a couple of 220 ohm resistor in the circuit that are similar power dissipating type resistors.

    probably is a 100 Ohm resistor with heat faded colour bands
    no reason to suspect otherwise
