Hello,
I'm trying to build an electronics work area in my house. Just
ordered a weller WES51 for $89.

Ordered a cheap DMM.

Now looking for components. I want a wide array of resistors, but
don't feel like ordering them individually. Does any one know where I
can get cheap array of resistors in one kit. I found that Ohmite has
some, but they seem expensive when compared to ordering a few dozen
individually.

Looking for an assortment of caps as well.

Thanks.

Download the Jameco catalog page at

they offer. Good price too

thanks. that is what i was looking for. the other kits were in the
$60 range.

The Ohmite assortments are very definitely worth the cost difference,
particularly if you're doing circuit development. (Too much time is
wasted attempting to do development using the inexpensive, off-shore
manufactured resistors. You're lucky if their resistance values come
within 25% of their marked values, and many are totally defective.)

The Ohmite assortments represent the best value for your money, and are
accurate, quality products that are available in a number of wattage
values.

I'd also suggest that you purchase nothing smaller than 1/2-watt,
otherwise you sharply restrict the applications that you can apply them
to.

Kindest regards, Harry C.
