Request a PTV-375 convergence board

I have a sylvania TV with a PTV-375 chassis, and I need a new convergence
waveform board.

Does anyone know where to get one, or does anyone have one to sell for
cheap?

Mine is dead because of a goof up. Ill leave it at that.

Anyway, i need a new one because if i hook up the current one, it will start
to destruct the power board.

None of the controls respond, and the convergence menu is
gone.

Anyone know where to find a board?

I bet you switched those two identical looking plugs on the HV board. I did
that once, once. It fries one of the ICs on that waveform board, but as
far as giving the PS trouble, it shouldn't. If, however those plugs are still
reversed, you'll still have the same problem.

I found that the waveform board is not compatible from a PTV 325-340, but the
IC is. It was a small 16 pin job and once I looked at the print it was obvious
what happened.

If you have a different problem than that, please elaborate, I got a couple of
them, but the only ones that have not been scavenged are in sets that are not
going to be scrapped, I'll look anyway.

ok, ill explain.

I had the service printouts on how to disable the customer convergence. It
says to solder a bunch of resistor points to ground, but it wasnt specific
to which side.

So, i soldered the wrong side of the resistors.

and yes, it disabled the customer convergence, but it disabled the entire
board and rendered it useless. It opened almost all the fuses on the
convergence output board.

I replaced the fuses and unsoldered all the connections on the board. it
opens the fuses again, and i noticed the ballast resistors on the conv pwr
brd begin to smoke.

I pulled the power connection to the waveform board, it quits. the conv pwr
brd is calm. if i plug it back in, it will smoke again.

If i pull the output plug from the waveform board, it will be calm also.

All my voltages are there, I just think that there is an IC out somewhere on
that waveform board, feeding a corrupted signal into the conv power board,
and causing it to open its fuses, and fry the ballast resistors.

I tested all the components on the power board, and they are fine. The
problem isnt teh convergence power board, its the signal going into it. or
it might be unwanted DC or AC or something.

I noticed each color convergence drive going to the conv power board is
coupled through 272 op amps. Maybe these are bad? i have no clue. I cant
test the ICs to find out.

P.S.

Convergence output board, convergence power board, same thing.

Its the board that amplifies the signal into ...., you know what it is. lol.

Not power supply, there nothing wrong with it. The output board is being
over/corruptedly drivin from the waveform board.

It doesnt use STKs, its discrete.
