good morning everyone thanks for the opportunity to write in your forums.
I read as a spectator and I noticed your passion for electronics.
ask help to repair a fluke 123.
the defect that presents is that after switching on the instrument keyboard keys are inhibited.
I wondered if it was because I changed the battery as its has been replaced with a non-original?
    since it is in particular?
I enclose a circuit original battery that can be of help.
    what do you think....?
    I'd like to help

    Buon giorno, Elias.

Does the meter work with the old battery (you maybe have to charge it to work a little bit)?
Does teh replacement batery have the ID-resistor and NTC in place with correct values?
