Hey

I am creating a project at home, and I need to find a way to be able to switch a console on (Sega, N64, PS3, etc.) without actually physically touching the console myself.
I've put a console in an arcade kit and I don't want to give people access to the inside where they could potentially steal the console, through forcibly breaking the kit.
I want an arcade type button on the side (or anything that could be on the side) that would trigger the power button on any console.

Is there a way to do this?

PS. I can't modify the consoles, they're mine from when I was young, I don't want to damage, break them.

Do they turn on if you just apply power? Or do you also need to press a "start" button or similar?

Thanks Steve, all consoles need to press a button to turn on. (PS3 (without controller), N64, SEGA, etc) all have ON/OFF buttons.
