Remote Control Extenders

Anyone have experience with the "Next Generation" Remote Control
Extenders?

Or recommendations for alternate types?

Not that particular model. Check the Smarthome site for IR extenders.
Beware that different remote controls (cable and satellite set top
boxes) use different sub carrier frequencies 40 KHz vs 50 KHz. Smarthome
wasn't clear on this and I had to change systems because the bandwidth
of the first system was limiting the range of my digital cable box.
