Remmington Shaver

I have a Remmington RS6963 re-chargeable shaver which I want to change the
cells on. I have read various newsgroup articles on the pro's and Con's
and am happy with the process. I have one snag I cant see how to get at the
cells. I can get the razor apart and can see the cells in a carrier on
which a circuit board sits. I can see a few clips that should release the
circuit board but it wont budge, leading me to believe that I have to do
something else but what?.

Any help appreciated

On most shavers you don't need to remove the circuit board --
just break the contacts on the battery terminals, then resolder
the new cells on. Get rechargeable batteries with solder tabs
already installed.

The cells are inside the battery holder with the circuit board on the
front.
