Whoever this Don guy is, he's extremely generous. With just the people I'm
bringing, this has gotta be costing him *at least* five figures. I can't

In olden times, when there were subscription BBSes with chat rooms, people
would actually show up for stuff like this. There'd be maybe a couple
dozen members of some BBS, and somebody'd suggest a happy hour or beach
party and people would acutally show up! Had some pretty awesome parties,
albeit the BBS was based on "swingin' singles." <leer, snort!>
