Registering AT&T Dect 6.0 base station with Panasonic Dect 6.0 handset?

    As these DECT 6.0 systems are supposed to be compatible, does anyone
    know if it is possible to register an AT&T Dect 6.0 base station with
    Panasonic Dect 6.0 handset please? If possible without jerry-rigging
    two wires between the two contacts on the base station and the two
    contacts on the handset for the registration process?

    OK thanks for that.I just thought that as both SEEM to use the same
    freqs & (bare) specs and both support interop with additional
    handsets, they might cross-support.

    This bit of the referenced page certainly is confusing: "Most consumer-
    level DECT phones and base stations support the GAP profile, even
    those that do not publicize
