The group experts will straighten me out, but I think cost of recovery would
be prohibitive and the phosphors may be degraded from use.

The codes represent the bulb color.

dx =deluxe white

ww= warm white

cw= cool white

blb= black light blue

d= day light

Have a look at UV fluorescent paints - a water-based range aimed at
theatrical use is manufactured by Rosco in 9 colours - including white and
"invisible" blue.

it is just an experiment i want to try i wont store more than 1 ounce of the
powder in a glass bottle

is it allready toxic to open the fluorescent becauce of potential low level
mercury contamination in an unventilated area

the way i recycled the coating is by cutting the two end of a fluorescent
tube than put one end in a glass bottle with big enought opening to slide
the tip of the tube inside
avoiding the powder to fly into the air then i put a tight fit cardboard
plug into the other side of the cut open tube
and at last i put a broom stick to push the plug from one side to the other

and voila youve got a clear recycled glass tube and fluorescent powder

i have done it many time in the past and it is pretty clean
setup and no mess

thats the reason why i dont whan to throw the coating in the garbage can

i want to used it for something else :) hi hi
