Recommendations for Scanner

Gang,

I'm looking for recommendations for a lightweight and not very bulky
scanner. I'm planning on going overseas in the next year or so, and would
like ideas on what sort of scanner would be suitable. The scanner would
need to be able to scan, at good resolution, colour photographs and older
document pages.

Ideally one that is USB powered that I could hook up to my laptop (which I'm
taking with me) would be the go.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Regards

** Make sure to get one with unity power factor - you don't want any
screwy angles mucking up your nice (mental) images.

Do I detect a bit of sarcasm here?
