OK smart ass....let us say the outlet is 15 amps...
How does that change anything that you have claimed in the entire thread????

With the amount of lies you have spewed in this thread, I doubt that
you even know what my statements are. You can't even reiterate one
without twisting it into another of your bullshit arguments.

All the retarded bullshit lying **** claims were yours.

Like 40 watts where there was no 40 watts.

Or like a $1500 meter where the solution does not call for any such
thing, nor did I offer any such thing as a solution.

Or... the plastic power strip. I never mentioned any such thing,
yet your retarded, lying ass put forth the premise that I did.

You couldn't be any more retarded, you lying troll fucktard.

Now if that rant isn't proof enough, I can't imagine what else it would
take!!

Sorry, retard boy, but three fucking sentences is NOT a rant,
dipshit.

Oh....are you sure about that???? He said "old" building!!!
Which has absofuckinglutely nothing to do with needing to get
consumption figures on a device.

It seems you are the one with the short memory....20amps squared divided by
the original .1 ohms would be 40 watts....
Next, the meter you suggested is $1500 bucks, but you suggested that one
after you switched the resistor to .001 ohms,
As for the powerstrip....that was all your idea...you were going to
"directly install" (LOL) a high wattage resistor in a cheap power
strip....most of them are plastic AND would melt with even a 20 watt
resistor.....
Nice try again...but no cigar....just more idiotic blather.....Wrong again

Who ever said that???....But since you bring it up...
That is what the OP was about..you still think your advice is good for
someone who would ask such a question and still think an electrician is
going to show up with a power strip, a .001 ohm resistor and an expensive
millivolt meter......TwistedMatter tries all the same crap, all over
again....such a freakin idiot!

nearly 20 PCs to draw that much, you fucking retarded, lying twit!

Next, the meter you suggested is $1500 bucks,

More lies. I NEVER suggested that the meter I mentioned be used.
In fact, I specifically stated that it was ONLY used to prove the
accuracy of the meter that WAS used. ONLY YOU read it wrong, and ONLY
YOU fabricated a fucked in the head lie that I *suggested* to use it
for the job.

ONLY YOU are the group's retarded twit. ONLY YOU.

No. I did not. I NEVER suggested that meter. I did MENTION that
meter as the meter I used to VERIFY the calibration of the meter that
DID get used.

Get a clue, you pathetic, compulsive lying bastard.

As for the powerstrip....that was all your idea...

Yes. Do you live in a world where all power strips are housed in
plastic? I don't. You are again... a clueless, twit bastard!
you were going to
"directly install" (LOL)

Yes. That is how it is done, dipshit. If you had half a brain, you
would note the post where I explained exactly how to install it.
Instead, your lame ass got stuck on the post I made to you where I
said the phrase "directly install", and it was you that got hung up on
"what that means". If YOU had actually read the thread, YOU would
know what it means, but YOU are just a goddamned lying troll retard.

strip....

I never said that either needed to be used or that either should be
used. ONLY YOU made those assumptions. You do it every time you
post.
most of them are plastic AND would melt with even a 20 watt
resistor.....

You are an idiot. A 20 watt resistor would not be forced to EVER
dissipate 20 watts in this application, and would be perfect for the
job as it would handle what little heat it did exhibit better than
using a resistor that is actually dissipating its rated wattage. You
are a fucking retard to even think that power resistors are designed
to EVER actually dissipate their rating. They are not.

One designs to only exhibit half the power of their rating. Any
engineer that uses a resistor at its rated wattage is asking for
trouble. Since all of this is beyond your retarded ass's grasp, I
don't really need to continue.
Nice try again...

You're a retarded twit.

You are the one hung up...you still think your .001 ohm resistor, power
strip, expensive DMM that will be accurate to .1mv is good advice for an
amatuer.........Try amp clamp and lamp cord dummy!
I never said that either needed to be used or that either should be
used. ONLY YOU made those assumptions. You do it every time you

Oh....let us see.....15 amps squared = 225 and with a .1 ohm resistor...that
is 22.5 watts
now with your .001 ohm resistor that drops to almost nothing...but now you
need and expensive meter.
You just kept shifting the goal posts from .1 ohm to .001 ohm from a power
strip with a resistor dangling in the cord to one installed inside the
strip.......You are quick to use the word liar, but you are the liar...you
change the facts then expect the original argument to be the same.....nice
try, but your Troll Prevaricating is well documented here!!

Make and Model?????....

I just looked over several on e-bay that ranged from 10 to 100
dollars. Since you think the issue is price, I even perused several
greater than 3.5 digit meters that were well below 100 dollars.

Got clue? It's real simple, little boy. It's right there in front
of your face... Doh!
.Never have given one TrollBoy.....

Don't need to. YOUR retarded ass needs to go see all that is out
there.

You're an idiot. You have no retort. You lose, dipshit.
but you were going to hang the resistor in series with
the line originally....

Hang? Nope. Never said that. The resistor gets PLACED in series
with the neutral line, as in directly installed.
of course you changed that too and started to tout the words "directly
installed"

I didn't change a fucking thing. All I did was state SHUNT
resistor.

If you are too goddamned retarded to know how those work (you are),
OR get installed, that is YOUR problem YOU CLUELESS, RETARDED ****!
and would never explain your design beyond that....

Design? Hey, retard boy... Yes... YOU, the MacTard. Shunt
resistors have been around for over a century. Ther is no design
needed. Simply an implementation

Get a fucking clue, you retarded electrical dipshit.
..Troll, Troll

Talk about stupid....150 watts (your number) / 120 volts = 1.25 amps plus
about a half amp for the monitor plus any other devices such as amplified
speakers...Easily 2 or more amps...You fool...You couldn't hook up 20 PC's
to 20 amps......Not even the 150 watters you suggest...3000 watts is not 20
amps * 120 volts. That's 25 amps....Talk about got clue....how about got
brain....Just one stupid claim after another!
