Thank you for the reply.
The chassis # TX808J.
Transistor ST1803DHI
What the problem was is when you trun it on the picture got too bright and shut
down. So I knew it was due to a high voltage shut down. When I checked the Horz
Output transistor, I found the Base to be shorted to the Emitter testing it in
either direction. As far as testing for anything else being bad I did not do
thatyet.
I just wanted to see how hard it was going to be to find the part.
I will start checking some other parts.
