So recently I wanted to take out my old wii console to play on my hd tv but came to realise that the only audiovisual output on the wii is RCA. If I stripped an HDMI cable, would there be three wires in it for video, left audio and right audio? Could I connect wires in an HDMI cable with wires in an RCA cable? Before anybody says anything about an adapter I just want to say I know they exist but it is my last option. I'd much rather do it myself. Thanks for the help!

No Go.:(

RCA Audio is Analog; HDMI is Digital.

The 2 are not compatible; therefore an Adapter is a must.
