RCA CTC 177 Had no sound.

This RCA on begining, it had no sound( with the tap on side of tv,
volume will come up). Now no sound completly. Some one out there have
any idea on this prolem, please give something to start with. Thank's.

Dry solder joint on board also the Tuner may need to be resoldered.

Run Chipper Checker after doing the reference repairs in the tuner and
shield areas.

Lift one end of R915 in audio cir if restores audio EEPROM is bad Bad
solder conections On ground tabs of tuner shield & micro shield can
cause EEPROM To fail. If that is problem contact me as I have worked
out a procedure to save EEPROM values to put in new EEPROM
