Further to recent questions about skin and proximity effects when winding
high frequency transformers I've rehacked my little tool that does the sums
for me.
I've posted it before but in its previous incarnation it used database type
tools so the distribution was CRAP.
I've wibbled about a bit and given it a thingummy file that doesn't rely on
said tools. (I hate databases and all that are associated with them, scum)
It's in Delphi 4. I am a crap programmer.
You get one .exe file, roundwire.exe, and one data file, roundwire.dat.
I assume you will check them for spukems.
Installation intructions.
Stick the zip file in a directory of your own naming.
Extract the two files, perhaps in the same directory.
Double click on roundwire.exe
Have a play.
If it doesn't work..... delete it.
Advanced users will be able to add icons and things to their desktop or
whatever.
The sums are based on Jongsmas description of Dowells work.
