Quick Question About 7 Segment LED Data Sheet

    Here is the data sheet I am referring to: http://www.kingbrightusa.com/images/catalog/SPEC/SC10-21SRWA.pdf

    I need to know the forward voltage, but there are two values listed 3.7 and (1.85). My question is which one is the "correct" forward voltage. The 3.7 is simply listed where as the (1.85) is in parenthesis labeled (DP). What does DP stand for? Thanks

    I could guess and say 'Decimal Point' ?

    Good guess.
    The DP is obviously made of 1 LED, whereas each segment has 2 LEDs (due to the size of the display). Thus the voltage drop of the DP is 1/2 that of a segment.
