Question on soldering

    I bought Darlington power transistors (MJ10012) and i can't solder onto it. The solder just wont stick Please help. :(

    Not enough heat? What kind of iron are you using?

    It is a TO-3 package. It takes a lot of heat to solder to a TO-3 case. A generous application of flux before applying the heat will help. As pointed out above, it takes a big iron to get the job done.
