Hi,I need some advice,I want to built a mediaplayer cooler but I am not sure if my setup will work properly.I have a power adaptor output 12V DC and 300mA,the fan has a power rating of 12V dc and 0.60A.Will this fan work or will it be fried, also can I connect two of these fans on to this power adaptor?
Thankyou in advance

The fan(s) won't be fried but the power adaptor will. You might get away with wiring two of those fans in series though. It'll give you a decent flow and a low noise.

Your 12V 300mA power supply cannot supply 600mA and may be damaged (probably killed) by such a load.

Having said that, I suspect the fan draws less then 0.6A. It's not 0.06A is it?

As long as it is 300mA (0.3A) or less, it would be within the capabilities of the power supply.
