I am currently trying to build a stylophone using the information on this webpage:
http://www.waitingforfriday.com/index.php/Reverse_Engineering_the_Stylophone
i breadboarded the ciruit and it works just fine. I just have a question about the circuit.
in the diagram the sleeve of the TRS connection for the line-out is connected to the 9V supply. in most amplifiers the other end of the sleeve would be connected to the ground of that circuit. can anyone explain to me why this does not couse any problems with current running from the 9V supply to the ground of the amplifier it is connected to?
