How is the price different between QFN or BGA package?

What is your choice for portable device?

Dunno - you'd have to find the prices for a part that is available in
both packages.

What is your choice for portable device?

I'm afraid of BGAs - not nice for manual assembly, which is how most
of my boards are built.
