Purchasing a new high end multimeter

I have no less than 4 Protek 506's in my draw at work, and there they
sit unused.

We bought ten, and only two have failed, and it was the LCD panel
for one, and a poor dope zapped the other.

Oh, and I have reduced the spring pressure on the knob's detent
mechanism, so HA HA HA on that one too. At less than $125 each, they
have worked fine for a lot of things, but sure, there are much better
quality jobs out there for the same price. Rat Shack is NOT one of
them.
Got RSI from changing that clunker of a range switch yet?

I used my brains instead. Knowing how the things are constructed, I
had no problem reducing the detent pressure.

I asked what you were using at
home.

And I told about some of it, dipshit.

I also have a wavetek signal generator. Are you gonna dis them too
now? You're an idiot.

Where's your 9 foot Brunswick, asswipe? Looks like I got you beat
there... as well. Hell, I could beat you without even touching the
table.

Can you barefoot water ski?

I will
say this, it'll be a cold day in hell before I shell out a grand for a DMM
that I can't even take with me, or an DMM for that matter.

Where do you see that, idiot?

It can easily be had for $150, and maybe I'll post a real nice 12 to
120 volt inverter up on abse for you we designed to use on the gyros
the original steady cams used. They are all cantilever types now.

Not such a mouthy bitch now, are ya, chump?

You probably should have worked on your grammar instead.

I knew your lame ass wouldn't get it.

That's the difference between someone that works on hundreds of 2.5
to 30 GHz signals all day, every day, and someone that merely gets to
use one at the low end of that spectrum too yack on a few times a day.

I was in ARack all day yesterday as well.

Now here's a neat
piece of test equipment that was worth every penny:

I think you should work on *your* grammar instead. Bwuahahahahah!

Almost looks like heathkit's old grid dip meter.

Of course since it's not designed to be used anally you might not have much
need for one.

Interesting that you equate the image you provided a link to with
such a behavior.

Methinks you doth giveth away too many clues about yourself, little
boy. You certainly said nothing about me or any of my behavior.

Yes, it's over 20W on the HP 3478A. You were saying? Also your amazing
bench meter has no better resolution than my Micronta on DC current
measurements (1uA).
Bwuahahahahah! If you really think that you get accurate fine range
DC current readings with that POS, you really are in the dark.

Nothing beats a good analog picoameter for such low level DC current
readings anyway, you stupid twit.

Which one of my inverters operates just fine. Hell, I could probably
make a solar rig and circuit for it. I do not actually have to feed it
AC line voltage you know. I can go straight to the meat of the motion.

Hahahaha!

Must be a fag fishing post. He caught himself by making it, and now
you as well.

Good job. Any other idiots out there?

Wow, ONLY a 20% failure rate. How did the one die that got "zapped"?

Still works after 15 years, you do the math.

Have to test a lot of diodes, do ya?

Hahahahaha

No, but according to the specs I saw, it's testing ability on them sux.
You're the one that making a big deal out its capabilitys.

You're the one that started the dissing.

You're really sticking your neck out now. Played on nine foot tables for
years.
Can you barefoot water ski?

Don't need to, I just climb on my Sportster and go for a real ride. Got one
of those?

The HP? The cheapest one I saw was $500 and it didn't look all that great.

Did you look at what it can do? Find me one other device that even comes
close in a box that size. Who's the idiot now?

You posting 7 replies to my post speaks volumes. You can say what you want,
but my RS meter is a decent meter and has served me well.

Seems right when reading around 50uA. 1uA resolution, just the same as your
HP. Way better than your Protek, isn't it?

Nothing beats a good analog picoameter for such low level DC current
readings anyway, you stupid twit.

But then, that's not what you have either, is it?

Hahahaha!

How does 20W compare with your foolish remarks earlier on the power
consumption? How long do you think a pair of AA batteries could keep it
going?
