Pulse transformer

Hi...

I am using a pulse transformer of 2KHz.
While transition its giving negative kick back voltage.
Other than placing a diode in series with resistor is there any other alternatives are there to reduce the kick back voltage.

Please suggest me a solution

I think if you try to reduce the kickback voltage in a pulse transformer setup, you will distort the pulse waveform.

If that does'nt matter, a capacitor in place of the diode should also work - provided you take care to of resonant frequencies.

Do you just make sure the output circuit has a low enough resistance and put a low resistor in parallel if it hasn't?

Can you explain this still elaborately (How it will work in positive direction and negative direction).
