Protell99se and Windows 7

Hi,
I have "upgraded" from Windows XP to Windows 7. I am happy with it to date, however, what I am not happy about, and hoping for some advice is, when I reinstalled Protell99se and SP6, Windows 7 Firewall turned off, I cannot turn it back on, Icons go missing, Admistration rights disappear...... and the only way to restore all of the above is to unistall Potell99se!!
I use Protell99 Se a lot for circuit design and pcb design, but i dont want to back to XP nor do I "really" want to spend in excess of $ 10K for Altium.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.Thanks.

Hi, Discovered if you install them as compatibility of Windows 98, all is good! ie right click and trouble shoot, do a manual and click on ran before but now wont whcih brings up windows selection windows. Hope this helps other persons.Thanks
