Hi! Working on a project that involved a micro-controller and a GSM unit.
I want the GSM unit to receive signals and send it to the picaxe micro.
Does anyone have any idea or experience in programming GSM modules?
Are there limitations on what kind of GSM units I can use with a picaxe microcontroller?
    Is this usable?

    thanks !

    Hi icetalker,

most of the GSM modules are using AT commands, they are so easy to handle via small microcontroller Uart port. A part of the job is probably to find out the right connector and to adapt the UART levels. Also ensure that the GSM defaults parameters are fit your (country) needs and be sure to get the right AT command list. I am talking about SMS usage, never try them with voice.
