Hello. I need a programmer for dsPIC33 devices. Does anybody have a first-party Pickit or Microstick II (must be a '2', not the original!) for sale?

I'm looking to contact a UK seller preferably.

I believe the pickit design is open source, so third party suppliers are not necessarily bad.

The PICkit 2 is open to the public, including its hardware schematic, firmware source code (in C language) and application programs (in C# language). End users and third parties can easily modify both the hardware and software for enhanced features...

I see, that's useful to know, thank you. Though I would be reassured if I knew the offered device was compatible with MPLAB's debugger and so on. :)

What exact device are you using. The PK2 may not be suitable:

The specific chip I would like to use with it is dsPIC33FJ128GP802 I-SP, this should be compatible with PICKit 2 and 3.

I agree, that chip is supported by PK2 or PK3 (and others), according to MPLab 8.92, Support by MPLab Sim is not compete:
