Problem with Napco PCD2000/PCD/3000 software

I have been using the Napco software on my notebook without problems.
I put the program(s) on my desktop, and have now backed up and
restored the 2000 & 3000 data. The 2000 program seems to be OK.
However, even though most aspects of the 3000 seem OK, the "zone
features" part of the program does not work at all. When clicking on
the above, nothing happens. Can someone please tell me what I can do
to correct this. Thank you.

I have had this problem a couple times on DOS based machine. Usually not
enough free base memory. On a windows machine with adequate emmory I have
never experienced the problem, but i bet oyu have a lot of applications
running int he background. Pull up the task manager (ctrl-alt-del) and see
how much stuff you have running.

More specifically, it
wants lots of LOMEM.

What the hell is LOMEM *specifically* ?????

You're a dunce.

There is conventional, expanded, and extended memory on DOS machines.
There's a program called HIMEM.sys.

There is no such thing as LOMEM.

Buuuurrrpppp...

WRONG Markie.. Those are BASIC programming language variables you
cited, even SFB knows that.

He was talking about conventional memory, and decided to make up a new
term.

You said there was no such thing, you related by chance to Jake?

Not in the context he was talking about. You're arguing semantics
now. Yes, Jake is my father.

What version of the 3000 software is loaded on the notebook? What version of
the software is loaded on the desktop? We had similar problems with 3.34B
and had to drop back to version 3.33 to see the zone features menu on 9600
panels. Windows versions of the software worked fine as well. I think the
rest of the group might have missed the boat on this one.
