Problem with HIH 3610 Humidity Sensor

Dear Friends,

I am using HIH 3610 humidity measurement sensors . It giving me
following
problems :

1. The Output voltage coming very low (1.5V ) compared to expected
value(2.1 V)

2. Its get hot very soon within 2-3 seconds after the current pass
through it.

Let me know what I can do or what error i might be doing in the setup.

I am using Omega Multimeter for V output readings and Radioshack
adapter for 4.5 V DC supply.

Thanks
Sharad

I expect you have reversed the pin connections... If so you may have blown
it up!
