Hi, I am building a bionic ear sort of circuit with an lm386. However, I only want to hear far away noise instead of close noise. Is there anyway to do that with some sort of filter or something? Any help appreciated. This is the link to what I am building: http://www.instructables.com/id/Ultra-Sensitive-Spy-Ear/?ALLSTEPS .

Only thing I can think of a directional mic, or a 'dish' that the mic sits in to make it directional.
You may be able to play with noise cancellation setups that use two mics and active components.. but I don't know enough to make you a diagram.
