I wanted to use these units to build a tube amp. the power supply transformer uses a G1501 vibrator. the unit uses tubes but I think the transformer is not HV. does the vibrator create HV for the B+ the unit has an ac input and does not look like a portable unit. Is the transformer HV?Yerobeginning

    hi
    welcome to the forums :)

initially, what are the voltage and current requirements of the radio ?
ie. are there several different power rails required ? one for filaments, an HT and whatever else ?
did it have an external or internal power supply ?

dont know what units you are referring to... maybe some info on them would help
    specifications, photos etc :)

    Dave
